Summer 2016 is in the books. And what a FUN summer it was. Historical brewery tours. Craft brewery combo walking tours. Craft brewery combo shuttle tours. Road Rally scavenger hunts. Corporate group events. Custom tours. Charity fundraisers.
Consider these numbers:
- # of tours / events hosted: 26
- # of overall participants: 390
- # of people in smallest tour: 3
- # of people in largest event: 50
- # of venues visited: 17
- # of times of having to use Uber to finish a tour: 1
- # of beers consumed: 2170 (Just kidding – we didn’t count that!)
Over the course of the summer, contributions from various events were made to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, the Arthritis Foundations, and Habitat for Humanity.
No doubt, we are looking forward to offering great tour events for Summer 2017 already. However, before we get there, we have little things called “fall” and (gasp) “winter” to think about first.
What’s on tap? The “5TH STREET FUN” craft brewery walking tour will continue as long as the weather holds. The “Beer Capital of the World” History + Beer tour will occur monthly. And an all-NEW group tour – anywhere from 15-34 people – is being offered. QUESSENTIAL MILWAUKEE will offer a brewery tour, bloodymary stop, bar games, beer trivia, bags, and even some bowling. Participants will engage in a friendly but spirited partner competition at each stop with prizes going to the winning team. This is an awesome event to do on a Saturday afternoon with your group of friends or as a super fun company outing. (Check with us to set a date for your group.) And other custom tours can always be scheduled to fit your calendar.
Plus, charity cornhole tournaments are set for the American Diabetes Association on Oct 1 and the MACC Fund on Nov 12. (If you are thinking – “Hmm, I should sign up for one of those” – we agree!)
THANK YOU to our affiliates that have made this all possible and many thanks to all of our patrons for the fantastic spirit you have shown this summer. Now… let’s finish the rest of 2016 off with some more FUN!
